Here are some preliminary character sketches of the upcoming Young Avengers cast that I did prior to the cover I drew, which you can check right here:

The Crew: Marvel Boy, Hulkiling, Wiccan, Miss America, Hawkeye (Kate Bishop), Kid Loki

I love this team and the book looks like it's going to be great! Marvel NOW Young Avengers from Keiron Gillen and Jamie McKelvie starts January 2013, so be sure to check it out!

Thanks! Yeah, I'm really excited for the new line-up. The first issue came out this week, by the way! Go check it out, I really enjoyed it.

As for Marvel Boy, he's a little bit older than some of the others, but not much. He and Miss America are the oldest of the bunch. If I'm not mistaken, everyone on the team is between 17 and 21 this time around.

Maybe I'll have a particular style someday but I think I'll just be sometype of fanboy for the time being. I heard drawing anatomy is good for beginners I tried giving the advise to my friend, she wants be one of these japanese comic book artist but she rejected my advise. So do you have any advise for this amateur?
Also what made you draw comic books everyone has a reason , right? :/
And one more question, you use to live in a basement?

Ah, don't worry about trying to force a style upon yourself, it'll develop on its own! Borrow inspiration from all the things you enjoy and, before you know it, your own artistic voice will start to shine through. My advice to all up-and-comers is to simply draw what you love and draw often! Push yourself to try things that you may not be good at yet and don't worry about trying to be perfect with your art. Explore, experiment, and have fun!

My reason for drawing comics is simple: I love comics and I love drawing! My dad used to buy me X-Men comics when I was little and I've been hooked on them ever since.

Haha, I did indeed live in my parents' basement for a short bit while I was working on The Strange Talent of Luther Strode. I was broke until that comic came out!
