It's a mask? I thought they were bandages. Is it going to be explained later in the book?

Eh, kind of. He gets all suited up in issue 3, so you definitely get to see the costume come together. There's not too much to explain, though. I just designed to mask to look a bit like bandages, you know? The idea was for it to look like something that an actual high schooler could make easily and for cheap.
